Am I the only one thinking that the wedding could really help the economy? Worse revenge would be staying single out of spite for the rest of her life and getting the alimony (on top of what ever else she got) for the rest of her life.

I put money into VW, and am happy to see that it is up over the last six month. Could even have sold some before Christmas for a great profit on the little peak it had. As long as Porsche is still acquiring it, it's a great hedge to buy and hold it while the rest of the market turns to jelly. This poor fellow didn't see how to use it.

@smithhimself: I went to a posh private Catholic school where the nuns would always make a point of publicly telling the 'poor kids' how lucky they were to be there on charity. As a kid you don't really understand the implications of this on a life but I often wonder about some of those kids today (I moved before graduation and didn't keep in touch with anyone). As a result of my 'elite' education I am a) an atheist and b) an avowed supporter of public education.
